Nightmares

My head hits the pillows,
the blanket covers my body,
darkness surrounds me as the fan swirls the air.
I fall asleep quickly,
and I dream.

Starting off happy,
I'm with my friends,
but they all disappear.
One
by
One.

Monsters and Goblins and Demons and Devils
surround me,
ready to attack.
They come closer and closer.

And I scream.
