Summary: He waits.

Notes: I'm not a big fan of poetry, and I've never written any before, but it 
got in my head and wouldn't shut up or leave me alone until I wrote it, so I 
did.

He waits.

Needing, wanting, yearning;
passion bubbling up inside,
longing to be with her -
see her, hear her, feel her.

But he waits.

Nervousness and anguish tear him apart.
Paranoia grips him in its clutches,
fear and terror wrap their tentacles around him,
slowly draining his strength.

And still, he waits.

Warning messages arrive,
danger cloaks the trees in darkness,
evil creeps about - trying to destroy him,
his love, his child.

Now he acts.
